FAQ
We have gather some questions and answers that you might have about God, if you have more questions not published go to questions and answers.
a. Why am I here on Earth?
God created us in His image and likeness with the purpose of knowing Him, understanding Him, communicating with Him, and depending and being guided by Him through His Word that we may love, adore, obey, and glorify Him. (Gen 1:27, Jer 9:24, John 14:21, 15:10).
b. What is eternal life?
Eternal Life is to know God and Jesus His only son through a personal relationship with Him. God gives testimony that he has given us eternal life; and that life is in His Son, that he who has received and believed in Jesus as his Lord and Savior has life and he who rejects Him does not. (John 17:3, 14:6; 1 John 5:11-13).
c. Can I really know God?
We cannot know Him in His fullness, but yes we can know him, according to how He has revealed Himself through His word, and understand his character and attributes through a personal relationship with Him.
(John 10:14-16, Jer 9:24)
d. How can I begin to have a personal relationship with God?
Listen to the message: accept what He tells me about my spiritual condition, that I am separated from him, dead spiritually because of my sins. (Rom 10:17).
Believe in my heart in the death and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Confess my sins, repent and beg forgiveness from God, receiving Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior.
(Eph 1:13-14; Rom 3:23, 6:23a; Acts 3:19; John 1:12)

f. Is Jesus really God?
Yes, Jesus is God himself, and like God the Father He posesses the same attributes and characteristics, being equal in power and deity. (Rom 9:5; John 1:1-3, 14, 6:40, 10:30; Eph 2:4-7).
g. Is reincarnation a reality?
No, Jesus died, was buried, and rose the third day. This gives us the security that we are going to be risen to be with him in heaven, because it is established that man only die once and is later judged by God. (1 Cor 15:3-4, Heb 9:27, John 6:40).
h. What differences are there between objective and subjective truths and how do they affect my life?
Objective truth is based on the character of God and his revelation in the Bible is that which allows me to be a person dependent on Him. Subjective truth brings me to rely on myself. My life is affected when I trust in my thoughts or emotions rather than God. Subjective truth is based on human thoughts and emotions, not in God’s revelation.
i. What is the work and purpose of the Holy Spirit?
The Holy Spirit is not present for the purpose of external manifestations, because we are under the new covenant of the church, as the bride of Christ. We have all of the scriptures given to us by the Holy Spirit, and they are objective and concrete, not personal experiences, therefore it is not necessary now because we have all of God’s revelation in the 66 books. In the person who does not believe the Holy Spirit acts to convict him of sin through justice and judgment. In the believer He acts to make him able, strengthen him, counsel him, and guide him towards every truth.
j. What is our final authority in making decisions in our lives?
The word of God is the final authority, not the church, nor any man. (2 Peter 1:20-21). |
